The COAT hat shelf is perfect for keeping coats in the hall or wardrobe. COAT is a modern take on the hat shelf consisting of a cabinet with two compartments as well as a clothing rack attached underneath.

Materials

Montana Lacquer
Montana’s water-based, UV-curing lacquer is developed in collaboration with Akzo Nobel and is available in 41 colours. The lacquer is formaldehyde-free and emits no harmful substances. Emissions of organic solvents are kept well below EU VOC requirements, helping ensure a healthier indoor climate and environmentally responsible production.

MDF
MDF is an abbreviation for Medium Density Fibreboard. It is a special category of wood fibreboards. Common with fibreboard is that it is made of hardwood or coniferous wood, which is comminuted into fibre size and compressed into sheets. A distinction is made between fibreboards made by a wet process without the use of glue and fibreboards made by a dry process using glue. Our MDF is PEFC certificated.

Water-resistant MDF
We offer water-resistant MDF, which is typically used in environments where occasional wetting or humidity occurs. Moisture-resistant MDF boards do not warp like regular MDF boards when exposed to humidity levels above 50%. It also won't peel like regular MDF wood when water spills onto the surface. Montana Bathroom and Living Things are made from water-resistant MDF.

Care Instruction

Clean with a dry cloth or a cloth wrung in clean water, then wipe dry immediately.
Remove persistent stains with a few drops of concentrated detergent, followed by a damp cloth and then a dry cloth.
Tougher stains: use liquid detergent diluted in water (max. 1 tsp per 1 L). Always test in an inconspicuous area first.
Microfibre cloths can be used as a gentle alternative.

Avoid

To protect the lacquer, never use:
Alcohol or solvent-based cleaners
Steel wool, scouring powders, or abrasive agents
Cleaners that leave a film on the surface (e.g., brown soft soap)
Avoid prolonged contact with rubber pads or oiled objects, as these can bond with and damage the lacquer. Certain inks, chemicals and strongly coloured liquids may cause discolouration if left on the surface.
