Handcrafted from 100% wool, this rug is part of a design collaboration between LAYERED and Swedish colorist and designer Tekla Evelina Severin—bringing together color, geometry, and spatial references in a visual language that balances architectural structure with playful experimentation. The collection evolves beyond color-blocking and basic forms into a more refined exploration of framing, optical effects, and three-dimensional illusions.

A wool rug is easier to take care of than viscose and has a natural impregnation in their fibers. Wool rugs shed due to their natural material, and the shedding never completely stops, but it decreases over time with regular vacuuming. Vacuum the rug regularly, ideally once a week, using a soft vacuum attachment. If the rug is often exposed to direct sunlight, it’s a good idea to rotate it occasionally to prevent fading. Stain removal: Wipe the stain carefully with a mixture of lukewarm water and soap. Absorb excess liquid with a dry microfiber cloth.
